Masterhitch Europe Ltd – Masterthumb digger attachment at Masterhitch
Welcome to our latest Masterhitch news post. This week we are looking at the Masterthumb attachment. We will cover what they can be used for, and why you may need to buy a digger attachment of this type for your construction project. Masterhitch design and create copious amounts of digger attachments that can be a standard fit to construction machinery, or custom made.
What is the Masterthumb?
If you’re looking for a unique digger attachment, then the Masterthumb may be something for you. Not heard of the Masterthumb? Then you’re in for a treat! It can also be known as a Master Claw, Thumb Grab or a Grip Talon, either way they will all provide you with the same high-quality service.
As the name suggests, the Masterthumb mimics a large hand. It is efficient in re-handling various materials including wood, metal, paper and large site waste. We would highly recommend partnering the Masterthumb up with our Power Rake or a standard excavator bucket. If you’re clearing forestry, the Power Rake and the Masterthumb will guarantee trouble-free removal. If a substantial amount of dirt needs to be picked up and relocated on a construction site, then coupling up it up with an excavator bucket will ensure it will be a very quick task at hand.
What can it be used for?
The Masterthumb is used for a wide variety of tasks, but is ideal for any demolition and clearance work. It is effective in handling materials due to the design of the attachment. The way in which the Masterthumb has been designed and built, allows the machine to become versatile. Here at Masterhitch, we have also designed the attachment to have an extra ram. This can be located running from the auxiliary hydraulic circuit, and will ensure the operator has additional maneuverability when on site.
The advantages of using the Masterthumb attachment include:
- Depending on the type of work, the Masterthumb can be paired up with a multitude of other digger attachments. Therefore, limiting the amount of other attachments that would have normally been required to complete the job
- The Masterthumb is quick and easy to install
- When handling materials on site, it can be hard to find an attachment that will offer additional grip. The Masterthumb will ensure that strong grip is maintained, due to the serrated edges
- The Masterthumb is very time efficient, as well as being cost effective for your company
If you’re still not convinced, then check out the Masterthumb being used by one of our H.E. SERVICES depots.
What machines can it fit?
At Masterhitch, we can produce the Masterthumb digger attachment to fit the following machines:
- 7 Tonne
- 14 Tonne
- 21 Tonne
We stock a range of different sized Masterthumb attachments in our workshop. Additionally, we pride ourselves on offering the service of custom manufactured digger attachments. If you have a project coming up, that may require substantially large machinery, then our standard sized attachments will not be enough for the job at hand. These are made by our experienced fabricators and welders, our staff are happy to offer any advice that you may need.
